Tennessee Company Purchases Uniforce

The Nashville, Tenn.-based Manufacturing Corporation of America announced its acquisition of Conway custom thermoformed plastics manufacturer Uniforce for an undisclosed sum on Thursday.

Corporation President of Manufacturing Operations Greg White will lead the company, the products of which are used for recreational vehicles. White praised Uniforce’s integrated business and reputation for quality in a statement and expressed commitment to build on its success.

Uniforce manager Ken Burks said he sought to sell his company because of health issues and wanted to find a buyer who would continue to operate in Conway. He said the Manufacturing Corporation of America would retain long-term employees. Kenny Burks will remain plant manager and said the buyer plans to invest in new equipment and facility improvements.
